Every child, regardless of ability, is entitled to a free appropriate public education (FAPE). However, parents and caregivers of children with disabilities often have disagreements with their school regarding the placement, program or services provided by the district. Our law firm provides legal representation to parents who believe their children are not being properly served. We provide a variety of services including legal representation at impartial hearings, appeals, and more.
Serving Children in New York State School Districts
Most of our clients reside in New York City and Western New York. Historically, we have represented families in school districts across the entire state. As of October 2020, we are limiting representation on new cases to Western New York, New York City, and school districts north of New York City and south of Albany. Making Education Accessible for All
All children deserve a free appropriate public education without regard to the financial circumstances of their parents. Therefore, as long as a case has merit, the decision to represent is made without regard to the ability of the family to pay. We have a flexible fee structure, allowing us to accommodate a range of families from various socio-economic backgrounds.
